My Story

Tim Kirchhof is a Minneapolis native and a prolific musician, composer, multi-instrumentalist, and private music educator. His original composition work has been featured in the 2022 Beijing Olympics, major TV networks like NBC, ABC, Lifetime, Bravo, E!, Telemundo, and countless others. His music has also appeared in a multitude of international documentaries and feature films, including, for example, "Little Pink House" starring Catherine Keener, amongst others. Tim's diverse background in professional performance began early, and he holds over 26 years of gigging experience. He has been a founding member and key player in several active bands in the Twin Cities, and his robust range of skills covers many styles including jazz, country, bluegrass, classical, rock, funk, folk, klezmer, and more! With over 16 years experience as a music educator, Tim has inspired a new generation of musicians to learn guitar, piano, banjo, and bass. These days, Tim Kirchhof gigs actively with Debbie Briggs Vintage Jazz, The Monday Club, and moonlights with some of the top music talents in the Cities!
